My Story
I grew up in a Christian home, was a pastor’s daughter. By all appearances, everything was fine. We looked like the perfect Christian family. Three kids, a dog, and happily married parents. But we were far from it.
I gave my heart to the Lord when I was seven, in Paris, Ontario, Canada – at the Braeside Christian Camp. I wasn’t even sure why I got saved, it just seemed to be what was expected of me.
I frequently questioned the nature of God, because of the things which happened in my own family. My father was an angry man, and my mother very timid – and our home life was very, very different to our church life.
I rebelled against God, and my parents. And after a broken marriage, and having done a wealth of travels I found myself in Bristol. Where, I have to say I found God…and a personal relationship with Him, instead of an intellectual one.
