My Story

I grew up in a Catholic home and went to a Roman Catholic boarding school. From a very early age I desired to know God more and at one time even considered becoming a nun!

I went back to school after the school holidays to find that one of my close friends had got "born again". She was so excited about finding Jesus that I wanted to find Him too. I said a prayer of salvation. There were no lightning flashes and I didn't feel any different. The Roman Catholic nuns were not very happy as my friend had turned our boarding school into turmoil. People were getting saved all over the place. We were nearly expelled from school but because we had paid our examination fees, they could not do that.

My journey with the Lord began and I started reading more and more about Him. It was sometimes a hard and lonely journey but He has sustained me all along. Twenty seven years have passed. Looking back they have been good years. The past three years have been awesome as I have had the wonderful opportunity of attending Bible School. In many ways I feel as though my journey has just begun. God is faithful, He is good and I love Him so. I cannot imagine a life without Him. He is my everything.
