My Story

I was born again when I was 10, but then was re-dedicated when I was 15- as I understood it more then. Having grown up surrounded by born again Christians, I always knew God was there, but found myself to be much more important. I was self-absorbed and extremely ignorant. During this time, I began to get very ill. I developed epilepsy when I was 8 and was at the point of giving up on life at fifteen. I hated what I had and what I thought it made me. I gave my life to God again, hoping things would change. And they did. I was healed of epilepsy before my sixteenth birthday. The way in which God so clearly spoke to me and showed me things during this time was just astounding. I was smacked in the face with the reality of God and the insignificance of my flesh. From then on, I was inconsistent with my relationship with God, going through my teenage years. I then came to England from Africa and have just completed a year of Bible school. My relationship with God has grown to such a deeper level. He is not only my healer and best friend, but now I see him and fear Him as the most holy God. I am eternally grateful.
