My Story

If I am honest, I don't actually remember the exact date, but I would never forget the experience of being born again. I was in 1st year of college at that time and was going through a fairly rough patch in my life. Two of my cousins came around to visit me and we were up talking till quite late (2am). They pretty much shared about the need to be born again and led me into a confession and prayed with me. I was amazed when I started to shake involuntarily. At this point doubts started to come in my mind that I was making myself shake but than all of a sudden when my face and jaw started to have the same movement I knew that even if I tried my hardest I could not make myself shake like that. The thing is, I really wanted an encounter with God and that is what I was now getting. I thank God for Jesus and what He did on the cross for us and also for the Holy Spirit which He gives freely.
